ACE inhibitors, combinations. ACE inhibitors and calcium channel blockers. Perindopril and Amlodipine.
Perindopril efficiently lowers the blood pressure at all severity levels of hypertension - mild, moderate and severe. The decrease in the systolic and diastolic blood pressure is observed both in the lying position and in the standing position. Perindopril decreases the resistance of peripheral vessels, leading to a decrease in the blood pressure. As a result, the peripheral blood flow increases without affecting the heart rate. The renal blood flow also usually increases, while the glomerular filtration rate does not change. The maximum antihypertensive effect develops in 4-6 hours after a single administration and persists for at least 24 hours.
Arterial hypertension and/or coronary heart disease (if treatment with Perindopril and Amlodipine is required).
Oral dosage form.
Adults should be prescribed 1 tablet per day once, preferably in the morning before a meal. The tablet must no be divided.
